Why I Love the iPad

With the continuing progress of our technology made possible by some companies, they have absolutely changed the way we think of our technology and the internet. Some companies have changed the way people deal with an email while on the run. I was really hooked when I started using my iTouch. As a representative of the generation that is addicted to the latest technology, we still continue to improve on how to communicate with other people. It is simply an amazing experience on how the iTouch runs my company and complete every task in my hands. With just a simple touch on the screen, everything turns out well with the use of this technology.

Now, I am just excited for all the characteristics that the new iPad Computer Tablet has to offer to a lot of people. I have the seen the demo video and the first trait that captures my eyes was the coolness and the slick design that really stands out. It is like an iTouch and a laptop combined in a single device. My iTouch could be brought anywhere I want because of its portable size and you could get immediate information in the internet wherever you are. This is the best device the technology has made. It is fast and really quick to provide what I want. I am a savvy-tech person who likes fast transaction in the just a matter of seconds and if this iPad could do that, then I like it.

But my main concern is the price of $500.00 and it appears to be competing against the top competitors in the world. Then I started to have second thoughts about it. For the same price, I could also avail a notebook which they have the same category of technology. You are buying the iPad with that amount because of the name of its manufacturer. Aside from that, you are buying it because of the quickness of the communication with other people and the quickness of any business transactions. The coolest trait I saw was the slick design in the keyboard and it was really unique. The question is that if they act like our usual keyboards. The problem with the iTouch and the iPhone is that they do not have sufficient grunts to function a proper browser.

Sometimes when I am surfing the net with my iTouch, it seems to surf the internet better with the use of laptop and it really annoys me. If I am going to spend any amount of money in a gadget, I want something that is really worth the money I am going to spend and does not cause me any trouble.

Let us not judge the iPad without even trying it. Anyway, it has the iTunes store, the App store and the iBook store wherein you have your own library and you could avail of some books to read on the iPad. I will be looking forward to using my iPad and hopefully my high expectations will be met.

How to Save Battery Life on iPad

.

By

.

I love my new iPad and that isn't necessarily a good thing. I spend a lot of time on my iPad and the drawback there is the battery life. Yet after some trial and error I have discovered how to save battery life with just a few simple iPad tips and tricks.

One of the reasons I never jumped on the iPhone bandwagon was the battery life (and the dropped calls). As cool as the iPhone always looked, I had no interest in buying a phone that would die in just a few hours. I had those same fears about the Apple iPad. While iPad battery life is decent, unlike the iPhone the tablet allows users to extend battery life with just a few tweaks.

The general batter life of an iPad is expected to last for around ten hours. I say expected because mine hasn't made it quite to ten hours. In all honesty, ten hours is a lot of time but why settle at ten if you can get more? Here are a few simple steps to follow to get more from this wonderful piece of technology.

Turn off your iPad Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi can eat up your battery and if you are watching a movie or playing a game, you probably don't need it. Turn it off and keep it off unless you need it. Even if you aren't connected, your iPad is still searching for a hot spot and sucking away your battery time.

Turn off the Bluetooth. Chances are you will rarely be using Bluetooth. If you don't need it turn it off because keeping it on will help suck out a lot of battery life. My recommendation is to keep it permanently off in your settings.

Turn off your location services. Unless you really do need them on and you are hoping to be discovered by your friends, kill the setting.

Keep the brightness as low as possible. I do this on my Android phone as well. You would be surprised as to how much more battery time you will get with less brightness. Even more important, the full brightness may not be healthy for your eyes if you are an avid iPad user.

Turn off media you aren't using. If I am watching a movie or playing iPad apps, I tend to leave them on if I get a call or a distraction. Just make sure to turn them off when you aren't using them.

It is really that easy. Remember, your iPad will come defaulted to settings that may not be applicable to your usage. Go through the rest of the settings and make sure everything that is turned on is necessary for optimal use. Otherwise follow this check list and get even more out of your iPad battery than Apple intended.

Reasons Why You'll Love the iPad

.

The iPad has taken the world by storm ever since its release on April 3rd by Apple. It represents a revolution in certain ways since it is officially considered to have introduced a new class of device that lies between a smartphone and a laptop. The iPad is a touch based computing device that runs on a variation of the very popular iPhone operating system with a brilliant multi-touch capacitive Lcd Display that's a real pleasure to use.

The iPad is meant for those whose computing needs are light and in our experience we found the iPad to be a total delight when used in the following ways -

Browsing & Email - For those who just like to lounge on their couch or bed, the iPad makes for an amazing browsing experience. The screen looks amazing whether you view it in landscape or portrait mode and the touch response is phenomenal. It's a snap to pinch-to-zoom and the finger-based navigation is something you'll fall in love with.

It's a lot lighter than a laptop and it's got a fantastic battery life with early adopters reporting battery lives of about 10 hours and in some cases even longer. We also loved the fact that you can instantly switch it on as there's no need to boot it or shut down. However the one downside is that it doesn't support flash browsing so you can forget about tending to your plants and animals in FarmVille. However, for any other type of browsing, the iPad is a real winner.

Read Comics & Newspapers - There may be a time when the traditional paper newspaper and magazines ceases to exist and the iPad, with the iPad Accessories, may well be the reason for that as you can download and read newspapers, magazines and comics from the Internet. There are applications that allow you to read The New York Times or USA today and it's much faster than actually going to their website. It's also amazing for reading comics since you can press down and have one scene fill up the whole screen - this allows you to read and view your comics in fascinating detail.

Fantastic E-Reader - Reading on the iPad is truly a marvelous experience. The layout is extremely simple and you can flip to your library in the portrait mode in a really cool way. You've got a chapter button, and different font size options along with a search drop down option too. It's easy to adjust the brightness and the page turning animations are just plain sexy. You can do a long press to call up the copy/paste function or bookmark the page or bring out the dictionary or search options. All in all, it gives you a wonderful reading experience and makes you feel as if you are actually holding a book in your hand.

Pure Speed - One of the features we love best about the iPad is the user interface. It's the same interfaces as the iPhone but it's backed up by a faster processor. If you are used to operating the iPhone then you'll be blown away by how fast the iPad is. It's blindingly fast and there's no sluggishness or slowness at any point. The super fast user interface is unlike anything you've experienced - it leaves desktop computers and netbooks in the dust.

The number one place for all your iPad Accessories. All of your iPad Accessories are available at the iPad Accessories Hub.

Who is the iPad Meant For?

.

The Apple iPad has just been released. Looks like a cool device, right? Like an iPhone, the screen adjusts to the phones positioning. It has Crystal Clear viewing capabilities for video and photos. And the Touch Screen... I mean wow! We've never really see navigation quite like this.

While this all may be true, the question is buzzing around, who is the iPad really meant for? Is there a consumer demand driving this product supply or is Apple looking to create a new demand, like they did with the iPod.

There has also been speculation that this device is simply a business move by Apple to simulate another Apple store. Hey, if you were Apple you'd probably want to have two Apple stores, right? Who wouldn't want 50 hosted VoIP developers rushing to create the next hosted VoIP PBX app: especially if you make a small commission off each sale?

Granted, it does have a touch screen keyboard so you can at least type. But what it all comes down to is that the flashy navigation, emphasis on apps, use as a reader and major push as a multimedia device makes it seem more like a toy than a piece of machinery intended to help a professional get work done.

Now, this very may well be what Apple was going for with the iPad. Maybe they wanted to create a more superfluous device. But why create something that seems so expendable in the wake of an economic recovery?

Don't get me wrong, I love the iPad. I love what Apple is doing with the device and the way their technology is progressing. Also, I like that the iPad has speakers and a microphone so it could potentially run a softphone or other http://www.freedomiq.com applications. But who is the iPad really meant for? Is it meant for you? Tell us what you think below.
